Goals for 2015

I was hoping to download my layout pictures to my blog but we had some rough patches last past two weeks of  December 2014. My father in law past away due to illness along with some of our dear friends who also past away due to illness. So to start fresh this year my goal is to post my layouts soon as well as some of the projects I made while back. Other goals are to start going through our old stuff and purge. Like really, really throw away stuff I don't need or never used for a long, long time. I have an issue of throwing stuff away so this month will work for me and sticking to it. I am also going to start using a planner again. I  haven't been doing that since I had my second son. Now that he is 3 yrs old and will be going to pre-k pretty soon  I will need to get that routine going with planning and scheduling my life and get my mojo back into scrapbooking as well. So much has been going on last year that I just want to forget about it and start fresh and this year would be perfect time to do so. I need to be positive and challenge myself to do things I love.

For my crafty goal this year is to go down my craft project bucket lists and make them at least once. It is so long. There are so many craft projects that I want to try besides scrapbooking. I have done some of them last year or so but still a long list. Hopefully I can do them by the time December rolls around this year.  Some I have started on but have not finished it. That too is my goal to finish what I've started. I have a bad habit starting something new and never finish it. Need to fix that! Also I've been wanting to start my craft business so I will be planning to do that just to earn some extra income for my family budget. So will see what happens.

Last but not least my spiritual goals for this year is read my Bible daily and complete it by December, hopefully! Getting my ministry up and going and family worship night. Something that's been needed to start a long, long time ago but never really got the routine going and stick with it. But with God's help we can do it as well as being at the meetings.

So yes these are my goals for 2015 hoping and praying that I can follow through this time without let up. Hope you all have a great year!

Updates Once Again For 2014

I told you there's a pattern here! Last post I did was in March and now we are in December, that is 9 months ago. Yeah it's a pattern alright! Oy Vey!! I've got issues here!! Need to break this habit pronto!! HA! As if it ever happens! But I'll try! Hopefully I'll be able to post my scrapbook layouts this week. Some are recent and some are from a very long, long, long time ago since I started scrapbooking. And some are scraplifted from other sites and Pinterest. I haven't done any new ones lately since my 2nd child was born and that was 3yrs ago. I definitely need to start back up again soon.
Also, I have been making other craft projects that has been on my Bucket list. I will post those as well as the link to where I got it from originally. Thanks for stopping by and reading my post!  As Tigger says "Ta Ta For Now".

Updates for 2014

It has been 9 months since I've posted anything on my blog. Wow, has it been that long since I post anything??  It seems I have pattern of doing that. I've done that last year and the year before. I guess when things gets in the way I tend to leave where I started and never finish all the way through. So I am going to try this again. This year I will be starting to post some of my layouts I've done over the years. I still have albums I need to finish starting with my wedding and my Disney trip from 2003. Sad isn't in it (sigh). Lately I have been trying to do other stuff besides scrapbooking like handmade cards, altering notebooks, and even making  mini albums which I made one. Didn't turn out as I have hoped but that's okay because practice makes perfect. As Walt Disney says 'KEEP MOVING FORWARD' :)

12x12 Paper Caddy

Here is what I did for the ABC pattern papers,  12x12 paper caddies. I thought it would be nice to make them one and give it to them on their last day of school.  I used purple and orange because that was the colors of the building my DS went for Pre K.  Sorry if the photos are fuzzy.  I used my ipod to take them. And sorry for my bright lamp as well.

I used my Cricut to cut out the bus, backpack, and an apple from RECESS lite cartridge since I didn't have the doodle charm cart.  I'll share a youtube video from babytweetums  for a tutorial on how to make this.  It's was very simple and easy to make. Just make sure you do the cut outs before you do the caddy. It'll save a lot of time doing them which I didn't do.

I got these tags from www.positivelysplendid.com , (She has a very cute free printable tags for teachers and other occasions as well), and put glitter inside the edges.  I thought it looks cute with the caddy and it has my DS handwriting to remember him by :o)   I filled them with some goodies, thank you cards I made for them and large clothes pins each with their favorite colors with stars pattern papers I had left over to alter them. They loved it!!

Post It Note Holder w/ Matching Pen & Altered Mini Fat Notebook

I wanted to get something for Teacher's Appreciation Week for my son's Pre K teachers.  So I decided to try making a post it note holder w/ a matching pen that I saw on you tube.

I bought 8x11.5 stars pattern papers,  3.5x5 in acrylic frames,  post it note pads, pens, and fat mini notebooks to go along with it. I will show you what I did with the ABC pattern papers that I had in my stash on my next post.

This is how it turned out. It was easier than I thought. I put ribbons on top of the frames, a yard for each one, and matching cardstock papers on the back to look even nicer. I also altered the notebooks to match along with the others. They loved it!

Updates for 2013

It's been a year in a half  since I've started my own blog.  But I have slacked a lot due to family crisis, taking care of  both my little ones and postpartum depression.  And not to mention being  surrounded with negative people my whole life didn't help my situation which was even more stressful. Let just say I was in the breaking point of shutting myself down emotionally. But with prayer and help from others I was able to do what I love to do most being with my boys and my hubby and of course scrapbooking :o)   I will be sharing little bit of everything my life, my likes and dislikes, my crafting creations, my passion for Disney etc... And who knows I might consider doing youtube videos down the road.  But for right now I'm sticking to my blog.

Mini treat box caddy

I made a mini treat box caddies for my son's classmates last week. It was easy and simple to make.  I saw a tutorial on youtube on how to make one. So I thought it would be cute to make one myself. Surprisingly it turned awesome. And the kids loved it!
